Stealing this idea for a number plate on my next car. I seem to use blocks of contrasting neutrals with a highlighting stipe on a lot of my design work, so I'm not sure why I haven't done this already.

Agreed. It would be great to have a vinyl sheet with the number/class already cut out that could be applied for each track day

My friends with street cars that take them to the track have magnetic sheets with the numbers printed on, or cut out magnetic numbers. The sheets have a tendency to come off more than the numbers though.
I did the number plate on my 944 to look like the ones in GT3 (at least from a few years ago).

Yeah, the big magnet sheets always peel off with speed but at least they are straight, I am not sure I could get the vinyl straight, and def not with the cutouts. Porsche looks great.
